Do you know that German super model Claudia Ciesla has probably worn and modelled in more Indian saris or to be specific style of draping the Indian saree than any other Indian model residing in India?
According to Claudia Ciesla’s spokesperson Flynn Remedios, CC as she is known to her friends has worn and posed for photo sessions, print catalogues and the like in the Benarasi, Rajasthani, Marwari, Maharashtrain (koli), Bengali, Kashmiri, Lucknowi and you name it sarees.
Says Flynn Remedios showing us about 100-odd photos of Claudia Ciesla draped in varying styles,”Claudia Ciesla loves wearing the saree. She has modelled and worn more than ten different saree types or forms in the last 4-6 months alone – probably more than any other Indian model has. Her favourite is the Benarsi saree. Claudia owns about 20 varieties of sarees and loves to wear them to parties in Germany, shocking her friends when they stumble upon the fully-clad stunner.”
Claudia Ciesla adds oomph and value to the saree and can put to shame any other Indian model or actress when it comes to carrying off a saree at a fashion pageant, explains her publicist.
